ABOUT DR. LOVINS

Dr. Rachel Lovins is a board-certified internist and palliative care specialist with over 25 years of physician experience. She completed her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and palliative care studies at Harvard University. Do you need to say what fellowship? And what about the Harvard thing? what is it?

As a Certified Physician Executive, Dr. Lovins brings years of program development and leadership expertise to her practice. Her extensive training encompasses medical ethics, ketamine-assisted treatment, personal coaching, and service as a death doula. Who do you expect will be reading this? If mostly potential patients I’m not sure you need the program development and leadership expertise. I also wonder about mentioning the death doula when you are already a physician specializing in death. It seems like saying I’m a physician and a rn. Should you specify anything about the coaching?

Dr. Lovins is dedicated to providing non-judgmental, whole-person care and relieving suffering for all beings. She finds fulfillment in helping clients live their most meaningful lives at any stage. She feels profound gratitude that her lifetime of work and learning has led to the privilege of receiving the trust of her clients and the inclusion into their lives at such critical moments.

She draws nourishment from connection, nature, and animals. Dr. Lovins resides in southern Vermont with her husband, two dogs, and a cat.
